Yeimi Montoya (María José Vargas), is a young Colombian woman of approximately 17 years old, who studies and helps her parents in the business they have. She has a gift for rhymes and musical rhythms, but it is a secret she has kept for several years. She is in love of Charly, her classmate and neighbor, to whom she has written many songs and that she keeps secret in her notebook, which she protects and takes care of as if she were her own son. But unfortunately a tragedy occurs and her parents are killed, while she trusts who should not, her notebook where all her songs are fall into the hands of the person who destroys her happiness and snatches her freedom, condemning her to 17 years in prison.
